Since the last FEF field operation i had been working hard with Ivan and Dr Simon and we had managed to produce 3x prototype Psionic Defence patches. I must thank Julian for the supplies. So i was quite keen to see how the patches worked in the field. I had also spent some time with Ivan and Dr Simon working on our Hive research and recently Dr Simon had successfully tested a Hive Stun patch that we had created so the mood in the Medical Bay was quite positive.
The Brenner Clan gathered for a quick drink to victory and joined the gathering FEF team. I was saddened to see that my colleague Dr Simon was not with us but also excited to see that we had been joined by veteran Medics Canary and Prince.
The first night a patrol went out and pushed back a Hive attack, we then met with Raze and i gave him a small quantity of med patches for his wounded.
The second day the bunker was a hive of activity!! I took to the field to test my anti-psionic patches which unfortunately did not work, i did however manage extensive field studies that concluded in returning a drugged awaken clan psionic to a secure facility.
A second patrol of which i was part of encountered hive vulcan members of which myself and engineer Jacob managed to extract pure hive virus! I also took multiple samples of three different hive types.
Missions went out at various points for other reasons but i was rather busy with my comatosed volunteer which i have renamed subject J22, im quite pleased to see that the Rybeck Facility has room for another 3 subjects! The work i could do!
The evening we had a visitor from the Aegis group, a free thinker who was cybernetically enhanced! Although paranoid that this emissary could be an agent of the network it was exciting to hear of the wider world.
He talked of ego and of doing what is right for humanity and i honestly feel that it was a moment of epihony for myself!
I now plan on running a medical service for ALL members of the Ascendancy, I know it will be another step in the right direction .. to save humanity!
