The Pennines, and the cults.
There has been much talk about going to the North West and I just wanted to pull together all the images and information I have about the area immediately to the North West
This is a map of our immediate area.
This is taken from the Knights of the Office of the Home map.
This is the similar kind of area but a little more west from Mr Candy’s Map

This is a transmission from the early days of Bunker Ascendant being on the surface.
It was found on a partially destroyed padd that was found at the top end of mutant space. It likely has been used as trade salvage which is why it has made its way to Mutant territory. Crow was able to hack through the encrypted database to get to the information recorded in the last surface mission before winter.
The recon team is very specific about the dangers in the area. They confirm human presence who retreat from contact in the Pennine area. Members of their team are eaten by cannibals after their crat tried to talk to the people they see and there does appear to be a controlling element to the whistling sounds they hear, as people from the team disappear and towards the end Angela Lopez, the scientist who has completed the log, seems to be swayed by the voices as she says at the end “ faithful, no more fear, no more hunger the earth provides, we are faithful.”
Another set of information comes from Citadel while he was still with us. He told me that there were 4 US/UK Nightfall marine bases that he knew of. One base in the Pennines, one in Lincolnshire at the steel works, one in the Megamind area to the nw of Hive Ares and one in Derby
Many more investigations are needed to ascertain what is actually happening in this area but we should be very wary of rushing in before putting precautions in place to deal with the dangers that have been described here.
