I’m not here to claim I’m the best choice for the military council. There are others with more polished leadership or bolder strategies. I’ve never been the loudest voice in the room, nor do I seek power for its own sake. In fact, I did not intend to put my name forward at first. Some recent events however led me to take the chance on using my own voice.
I stand here because I know the reality of the frontlines. I’ve been in the trenches, faced the chaos of battle, and relied on the trust and grit of my fellow soldiers to survive. I have seen the bad and the good of the surface — as well as the bunker.
What I offer isn’t perfection — it’s hard-earned experience. I’ve made many mistakes, learned from them, and returned stronger. Every scar I carry is a lesson, and every decision I make comes from understanding the real stakes of combat, where survival is never guaranteed.
If you choose me, you’re selecting someone who values resilience, teamwork, and empathy. Leadership is more than just strategy; it’s about caring for those who carry out those strategies. I’ve seen the weight of sending people into harm’s way, and I’ll bear that responsibility with the respect it deserves.
I believe in leadership that listens, adapts, and stays grounded in the realities faced by our soldiers. My commitment is to the mission, our values, and the people behind them. That’s why I won’t promise perfection, but I will promise thoughtful, dedicated leadership.
I’m not here because I think I’m the best choice — I’m here because I’m willing. Willing to serve with humility, to ensure no one is abandoned, and to lead with integrity. Quiet, effective leadership may not always be flashy, but it’s what gets the job done.
At the end of the day, the choice is yours. If you choose me, you’re choosing someone who has been where you’ve been. Someone who has seen the ugly of the world. Someone who understands that every decision we make defines who we are as soldiers, and as human beings. It’s a long shot — but my aim’s steady, so better believe I’ll be ready.
