At approximately midnight last night, former Science Councillor Davis Rhodes escaped custody under a shroud of mystery and confusion.
Details remain sparse as investigations get underway, and the Council has asked for all bunker members to remain calm and resist jumping to conclusions as to the details of the escape.
Major Adam Valton made the following statement at an arranged public briefing just minutes ago:
“We can confirm that Davis Rhodes is no longer in our custody. For those worried for their safety, we will also add that security footage has confirmed that he has made it to the surface and has not re-entered the Bunker.
The people of Bunker Ascendant can be assured; we will not rest until Rhodes is brought to Justice. And as for rumours of Bunker Security being involved in the escape, I suggest people keep such rampant slander to themselves unless they want to join Rhodes in his cell when he is recaptured”.
The Major refused to answer any questions.
