Using the established technology from “Motherlands Hope”, this weapon was designed to fire a three round burst rather than a single power shot.
By running the 6 super-capacitors in pairs, rather than in series, it is possible to release the energy one pair at a time in rapid succession to create a 3 round burst. There will then be a delay as the capacitors re-charge.
The force generated will be less for each round compared to “Motherlands Hope”, but with a higher overall rate of fire.
