The science contained here is of a level you have never seen. It appears that the thing in the cage was to be used to process commands, that would then be sent to a wide array antenna, or possibly a satellite.
It is not fully complete and is missing the required hardware to encode any transmissions.
But the theory alone is mind blowing.
